Avast free review windows
The interface for Avast is simple to use, and has distinct distinctions between the various elements. The blue icons are simple to use, and have orange accents that match the logo of the company. On the homepage, you can run an examination, activate the VPN and gain access to shortcuts to a few not-so-useful tools for system optimization. The fact that the most valuable features are hidden in the «Explore tab» is frustrating.
The installation process is simple, and you’re not required to use the free version. However, a full scan will identify «advanced problems» that require premium security in order to fix. This is a bit shady. Especially when you click the Resolve option and are directed to a page that asks you to sign up for Avast Premium security. Avast also sells user information as revealed in a 2020 article from Which? magazine.
